HYPOTHESIS:
Is Unrequited Desire the Progenitor of Potential Realities?

As a young Philosophy student, I pondered the status of potential worlds. What, I asked Myself, is a potential world? Does it exist? If it does exist, then is it potential properly? Are potential worlds generated? If so, by what?
I think that now, decades later; I have some of the answers I sought so long ago.

We are all familiar with the experiences of unrequited love and disappointment.
We tend to think of these experiences as negative and undesirable because they cause us great discomfort.
To make matters worse, we have been taught to believe that the resulting ruminating, fantasizing, wondering what might have been are unhealthy, "obsessive" ways of thinking that should be eschewed. We are admonished for "brooding".
We are told to "buck up" and "accept reality" and "cope".
We are told that to imagine that which is not, is "magical thinking", which we are told is the weakness of children and the feeble-minded. We are taught that brooding is futile.

But is pain the measure of whether or something is undesirable?
Birth, for instance, is very painful for most women. Should it be eschewed, then, and considered undesirable?

Perhaps the thought process that we well-nigh universally experience as the result of not having that which we desired, of having our hopes dashed is not called "brooding" spuriously. Perhaps, indeed, we are hatching something. Perhaps the pining for that which we wanted and lost, or never realized, is a species of birth pangs.

When we get that which we dearly and urgently desired, our reality lines up fairly neatly with how we visualized and hoped things would turn out. The pretty blonde who moved in next door accepts our invitation for dinner. We ace the interview for the coveted job. Our fantasies and hopes and visualizations become concrete reality. All is well with the world – this world.
What has actually happened is that what they call a "Quantum Collapse" in modern sort-of-scientific jargon has occurred. One reality has come into being and our minds do not visualize alternatives because we are satisfied with the results.

What happens, however, when our hopes are dashed? What happens when the neighbor next door, who we have come to really like, does not wish to begin an intimate relationship or we do not get the job in the office with a view that we wanted, and perhaps need, so very much?

We begin to brood. We begin to visualize how we wished the event had turned out, but did not. We begin to second-guess the person's motives for not granting us our heart's desire. We begin to weigh all sorts of possibilities as to why the rejection occurred. Maybe the boss already has someone else in mind for that job and interviewing me was only a formality. Maybe the boss wants his nephew to have the job. Maybe I wasn’t qualified enough. Maybe I said something offensive during the interview. Maybe my suit is not fancy enough…

Maybe the girl next door is interested in someone else. Maybe she is gay. Maybe I had bad breath. Maybe she wants someone richer than I. Maybe I am more intelligent than she feels comfortable with. Maybe….

Each one of those possible scenarios - *exists in a potential world*.

The satisfaction of our desires creates an actual world. Our visualization and reality lined up and there is no reason to visualize alternative scenarios. A "Quantum Collapse of a cloud of possibilities", as they are wont to call the phenomenon nowadays, occurred.

Not having our desires fulfilled, however, generates a virtual tsunami of thought. We begin to examine every possibility we can think of looking for an explanation of why we did not get what we so fervently wanted.

Now here is the beautiful part. Each of those scenarios that we imagine is but one potential event *in an entire potential world*. No individual event can occur without having an entire world as a support system for that scenario. If we imagine, for instance, that we lost the job because someone was better qualified than we, we are creating a potential world in which there must be potential qualification, and potential methods of acquiring those potential qualifications, and, therefore, in that world the concept of acquisition potentially exists...A potential scene in a potential world must be supported by all sorts of potential phenomena.

Now here's the part that's even more beautiful: Some of the potential elements in that potential world may be just what someone in an actual world might want or need. Maybe that which the person wants or needs does not exist in that person's actual world, but it is a necessary element in the world which is the support system for one of our ruminations, our brooding. We have hatched a world in which someone's desires may be able to be fulfilled, including our own.

If that which exists potentially in our imaginary world, as part of the support system of that which we hoped existed, are things and circumstances that many others embrace, perhaps that desire is enough to make our potential world into an actual world.

And if that is the case, then the non-fulfillment of some of our desires in this world is not only positive, it is immensely productive. Unrequited Desire might be the Progenitor of other worlds – worlds that begin in potential might just might be actualized if enough folks need or want it so.

Is There Life on Other Planets?

I've come to the (tentative!) conclusion that there are no "other planets" - that what we are looking at are alternate combinations and permutations of our own world that we see diffracted when we consider space - which is another way of saying observe our own consciousness.
If we were a hundredth the size of a pore in skin, it would be eminently clear to us that there is no inner and outer space.
When we look "out" into space, we are looking "in" as well, as there is no inner/outer space dichotomy as it appears to us because of our skin.
When we look at "other worlds" we are looking at alternative ways of understanding our own consciousness and our own world.
Therefore, there is life on every planet *precisely because there is life on this planet* and this planet is but one of innumerably, if not infinitely, large number of alternative realities of One Realty.
The life that exists on "other planets" is us - in alternative forms.
Aliens then, are us in forms we have not yet come to recognize as ourselves.

ANARCHISTS IN SOCIAL WORK- Known to the Authorities

I highly recommend this free, on-line book to anyone who has any interest in the problems surrounding Social Work.
It is a compendium of articles written by a number of Anarchist and Radical Social Workers.
Reach out to them as sources of critical information and all-around allies in your struggle against Social Work Corruption.

"Some of the most damaged people are in positions of social work authority...(pg. 52)....I found in my experience that some of the upwardly mobile career women were the worst for this carrying on barely concealed vendettas against other fem
ale clients and social workers who disagreed with their decisions. All in the name of 'professional decision' (pg 83). [sic]"

"So brazen are the managers, that social work is called 'Cash-Led', and 'Best Value'...the client is not only neglected but actually violated by this system." (pg. 54)

Newns writing about one of his bosses: (He) knew how I felt about doing Sections - that is removing someone's person liberty by law. He would wait till I was on duty, and 'save' a child abuse investigation just for me, and 'order' me to remove the child. I was quite prepared to use this authority when no other means was available, but it was so often the case that statutory power was invoked as an exercise in arse covering, because of lack of imagination or risk-taking. "(pg. 60)

The above quotes were excerpted from ANARCHISTS IN SOCIAL WORK - Known to the Authorities' "Anarchist Ideas in Action, by Mark A. Newns.
Newns, now retired, was a long-time Anarchist and Social Worker.

Rethinking the Idea of Ownership of Prisons –
Cooperative Ownership

Through the Eyes of Women: What a Co-operative Can Mean in Supporting Women During Confinement and Integration

http://usaskstudies.coop/socialeconomy/?page_id=1495

This is a tremendously promising idea.

One of the things that always disturbed me most about Anarcho-Capitalism was the promulgation of the idea of privatized prisons and police forces.  was stuck in the concept of private ownership when I rejected the idea out-of-hand. We see the results of private ownership of prisons and militias and they are nightmarish.

However, the integration of the concept of Co-Operative in the ownership of prisons and police forces is entirely different.

Let's concentrate in the space of this preliminary discussion on prisons.

If prisons are Cooperatively owned, they will be owned by a group of people who are essentially different in their weltanschauung than are Capitalists. Moreover, there will be a number of people supervising the project. Additionally, that Cooperative will no doubt be part of a cooperative Network, which will provide moral, as well as economic, checks and balances.

Earning shares in the Cooperative prison can be integrated into the Rehabilitation process. As prisoners show more identification with society and willingness to be part of society, they earn the right to be owners, and therefore decision-makers, in the prison.

Training in various other types of Cooperatives can be offerred in prisons and job opportunities in Cooperatives will be part of the process of release from prisons.

This discussion was initiated in a group called Cooperatives on LinkedIn.

The idea is not just for women, of course. I'm offerring this article because it is the only article I know of that considers the idea of Cooperative prisons.

The Palestinians are Not Stateless.
They are STATEFREE -
And Why That's a Huge Advantage

My Husband and I were discussing the Issue of Statelessness
.

It occurred to me, as an Israeli, that Statelessness can have decided Advantages; if one sees the matter properly and sees the Opportunity therein.

After learning that the British "gentlemen" who debated ratifying the Balfour Declaration decided to vote in favor of the creation of the State of Israel on the proviso that it functioned as the "Ulster of the ME"; I realized that becoming a State is only possible if the established powers can integrate that State into the International Munitions (and probably Drugs) Markets.

The Jews were freer to be Moral when we did NOT have a State. We were not more vulnerable when we were not concentrated in one small geographical area either.

My Husband suggested calling people who are not bound by citizenship in a State STATE-FREE, instead of Stateless.

There are many STATE-FREE Peoples all over the world and, if they reach out to one another, including to the many SEPARATIST Movements around the world, they could become a Force to Be Reckoned With.
The strength of the Multinational Banks and Corporations resides precisely in their being Supra-National.
To fight them, we need Supra-National Businesses, which STATE-FREE People can form.

My recommendation to the PALESTINIANS is to reach out to other STATE-FREE Peoples instead of insisting upon Statehood, which will require that you give up your Morality and accept other constraints that you will come to hate.

Reach out the the Basques who run the Cooperative MONDRAGON - a tremendously successful Cooperative.
Reach out to the Frisians.
Reach out to the Sami.
Reach out to the Roma.
There are so many, MANY STATE-FREE Peoples in the world.

Reach out and do not allow yourselves to be limited by artificial borders.

Instead of being one Organ in the Body of Humanity, limited in place, become the Lifeblood of Humanity, present and essential Everywhere.

Life NeverEnding

The beginning of True Knowledge comes with the understanding that Everything around us a Alive. Indeed, it is Life Itself and we are utterly surrounded by it and an integral Organ of it.
Space is Alive.
History is Alive.
Language is Alive.
The structures around us, the building, the streets, the instruments we use - all of it - are our living flesh, the organs we create in our own image to sustai
n ourselves.
We realize that there is no political action - there is only Life serving and preserving Action or the futility of trying to limit Life.
When we realize the immensity of Life, the absoluteness of Life, that Life is Everyone and Every Thing we first feel ourselves overwhelmed and drowning in an Infinite Miasma of teeming Life Never-Ending. We then realized that we have not drowned in that Infinite Sea and that we cannot be drowned in it. Then we feel absorbed. Then we overcome with Sacred Awe as we surrender to Life and pledge our Loyalty to its furtherance and blossoming.

The Internet Understood
As a Vein in an Umbilical Cord

It occurred to me that the Internet is one of the main veins in the Umbilical Cord leading to us from the Placenta that is currently feeding us, to wit: all of the Systems that we rely upon for sustenance, protection and to get rid of our crap for us - particularly banking, finance, gov't.

We think that we need the Internet in order to get and share information, that it is the actual medium that makes communication all over the planet possible.
But, in truth, it is only supporting us while we develop the organs we need to communicate on a much higher level without this medium.

While we are on the internet we are learning to communicate globally. Our organs for carrying out this communication are growing and getting stronger every day.

We are beginning to resent the Systems that support us terribly and we feel that they are squeezing us because we are very close to being able to sustain ourselves without them. Those life support systems: banking, the business world and government, are in a state of advanced Placental Insufficiency. So, we feel that we are in danger and, to be honest, we are.

How and Why The Police
Engender and Perpetuate Violence

How Cops see themselves:
Why Cops are "Pricks"
http://www.apbweb.com/featured-articles/2390-why-cops-are-qpricksq.html

We need to understand what a Cop is on a far deeper level than they can understand themselves.

A person who works in Aquaponics sees lovely fish and vegetables every day. In fact, he sees more and more of it every day. He sees more fish and vegetables at the end of three years than we will probably see in a lifetime.
What kind of people go into Aquaponics? Was this person drafted into becoming an Aquaponics grower?

The writer sees words every day. In fact, he sees more and more words every day. He sees more words at the end of three years than we will probably see in a lifetime.
What kind of people do into writing? Was this person drafted into becoming writer?

A cop sees crime every day. In fact, he sees more and more crime every day. He sees more crime at the end of three years than we will probably see in a lifetime.
What kind of people do into "crime fighting"? Was this person drafted into becoming a cop?

An office worker is someone who comes to work, sees huge pile of paperwork and imagines that his goal is to have a clear desk at the end of the day.
But, *the very nature of his office work engenders more paperwork*. The office worker's work makes more like itself.
And, the bottom line is: The office worker wants it that way, though he tells himself he wants a clear desk, because if he ever did clear all the paperwork away; he'd be sent home that very day.
There are certain types of people who are on a level to generate more busy, really unnecessary work. They become office workers.

A Cop tells himself that what he wants is to mop up crime, so he's going into "crime fighting". But the truth is, *his job engenders more crime*. Not only is that true of the work, in-and-of-itself, if it were not true, the cop would be out of a job. And they like it that way.
The Police are Evil because they are people who are attracted to ugly, violent, vulgar, brutal, disgusting things that already exist and their work *engenders more in the world* and *they like it like that*.

"Car accident, homicide, rape, robbery, baby mama drama, baby daddy drama, family dispute over who gets the last pork chop that winds up with a dinner guest sporting a steak knife in the chest, a kid that goes missing or runs away, a Dad who gets tanked up and uses Mom as a speed bag, a drug overdose, hostage situations...every despicable thing that one human being can do to another is what the police are immersed in every day."

Are you immersed in this every day?
How often do you experience such things?
Not often? Me either!
Know why?
Because we don't have the *attraction* to these horrors in our souls.
Cops have a level of attraction to this so high, they experience it every single day, if not they themselves then through the reports than come into their departments.
Understand what the quote says is not about Humanity as a whole, as they believe and want us to believe, but about COPS.
We all increase in the world that which we love. Cops LOVE THIS SHIT.
Show me the frequency and intensity of crime that any individual cop is exposed to and I'll tell you the character of that particular cop.
But they are all organs of the same disease-addled body - some organs are more diseased, some less.

We can have no illusions about them being workers, like us, or that they will come around and realize they are being used and will use their training to protect us against The System.  Police are low-IQ Psychopaths. They are the Psychopaths that don't have the smarts to go into Banking or Big Business or even Politics. They are the scum-eating bottom feeders among the Psychopaths. They can't "turn around".

RESURRECTION

The vision and explanation by HaShem in Ezekiel 37 is an internal process.
We begin to slowly, slowly to wake to the realization that we are a Saga and a distillation of History and that the information and experiences that comprise History are *Alive*. Indeed, they are Life Itself unfolding. We come to understand that we are living in an unfathomable miasma of Living Knowledge. We realize that those forgotten Sagas lie within us, not dead, but dormant. Today, we call this information our DNA.
As we grow, that designation will be replaced by more sophisticated and accurate designations.
Our Ancestors begin to awaken and tell their Sagas again within us. Our long  gone Ancestors come to live within us and tell us the stories of their lives, their struggles, their aspirations, their loves and their pain - and they relate to us how they sent their Souls out in ships on a sea of Hope to create a better future and how we are the realization of their Hopes and Dreams. We are the better version of our Ancestors that they dreamed of being.
Our awakening to this knowledge *is* our Ancestors being Resurrected.
