WHY IS BERNIE SANDERS
BEING DISAVOWED BY THE STATE OF ISRAEL?
It hurts me so that this is not the sentiment in the Israeli establishment and every attempt is made to ignore him in the major press in Israel and to make Hillary out to be the inevitable contender.
That says something about the State of Israel and what it says makes me very, very sad.
Bernie Sanders is the very embodiment of all true Jewish values. He is everything every good Jewish Mother wants her Son to be.
That the State of Israel isn't proud of him, doesn't support him, doesn't embrace him as one of our finest Sons, is the worst indictment that the State of Israel can bring against itself and its claim to be a Jewish state. This, in and of itself, puts the lie that is the State of Israel in tragic relief. I have not even seen him endorsed by the Left wing parties in Israel.
I have reached out to representatives of the Left wing parties in Israel and suggested to them to forge a Brit with Bernie, to run to him with both arms open. No response. Nada.
